Along jln besar, just after the scissor cut curry rice shop.. on the right.... before u reach veerasamy road. along Kelantan lane also a couple of shops selling.... But be sure to wash thoroughly before use. New barrels are oily inside..

Hi bro temp is 29.6 to 30.5 Not really encouraged at all but due to space, I really have no choice. I am looking at downsizing my 5ft soon and going on a 3 ft but to add in chiller... alternatively is to add in a fan... I have a small fan inside my sump to cool the water but it doesn't really help.. Oh yes, sanity is 1.021.... im trying to lower it somemore.. hopefully to achieve 1.018...

Hi folks Some updates on my fowlr and needed some advise Current LS 1) 1 x 5" 6 bar - from ML 1 yr ago 2) 1 x 4" emperor - from ML 1 yr ago 3) 2 x orange skunk clowns - from ML 6 mths yr ago 4) 1 x 3" Koran angel - from bro vtec about 4 mths ago? 5) 1 x 3" Picasso angel - from a reefer about 3 mths ago 6) 1 x 4" nigger trigger - from ML 6 mths ago 7) 1 x 5" grey - TFC - 1 mth ago. currently my grey gotton white moulds on the fins and tail after newly intro into tank after 4 days. All LS still feeding hungrily. W.C maintain at 10% every 1.5 wks. Equipments only Tunze DOC 9006 skimmer and aquazonic 9w UV. Had neglected my W.C last month due to my BB's delivery and I believe my water parameters went bad. Currently reading - NO3-160 NO2-0.5 PH-7.5 KH-0 GH-180 Looking at doing up an acrylic ATS box now to place on the tanktop. Hopefully my grey improve. Just did w.c 3 days ago and dose cupramine. Will be having w.c again on Sat. Any other advise to reduce nitrate?

Hi bro my experience as follows one year old 5ft fowlr equipped with only eheim DOC 9006 protein skimmer n Aquazonic UV sterlilizer 9w and the following soldiers 2 x orange skunk clownfish - 6 months - ML 1x emperor - 1 year 1x Juv Koran Angel - 4 months - reefer (bro Vtech) 1x nigger trigger - 6 months - ML 1x Picasso trigger - 4 months - reefer 1x 6bar angel - 1 year - ML 1x grey angel - 1 month - TFC So far, so good except for the grey which got mouldy fins recently due to bad water. But all fishes still ate greedily daily.

Just do a W.C yesterday. Just on the skimmer as yesterday i had dosed bacteria. Test results shows NO3-20 NO2-0 PH- 7.5 KH-0 GH-180 S.G - 1.019 Temp- 30.1 Total LS: 1 emperor angel - from ML 1 6 bar angel - from ML 1 regal angel - from Beng 5 scissors tail gobies. - from ML Still looks empty.. am keeping a lookout for a couple of angels or butterflies soon,.

Hi bros Thanks for helping me keep this thread alive. Lately CNY coming, therefore quite busy. No time to visit farm but paid a visit to fish channel as well as ML. Got gd advices from both Kellvin and Henry. Got polylab from ML and also one emperor and one 6 bar. Both are Quarantined inside pails for 3 days, observed to be eating before releasing in DT. Meanwhile to treat the flukes before, i used Prazi... my regal recovered. Found it to be always hungry though. Im not using copper but just prazi last week, performed 10% W.C weekly. So far, so good for all the 3 fish. Need to monitor if all is well after CNY, then can consider adding more LS. Oh, tests shown NO2 and NO3 - close to 0.. PH abt 8. Temp currently, 29.6, S.G 1.019. Funny thing my regal and emperor keep swimming together... haha, at least making the tank more lively.

Yup bro. right now, my regal is so lonely in the big tank. Thinking of getting one or 2 more and just keep in the pail for 1 week to monitor. Is it good enough?

Hi bro.. sad news... Due to my FIL passing away, i was not at home for a couple of days. Blueface cloudy eyes and my regal too, keep going against the current of the wavemaker. Made a trip down to fish channel for advise. Rush to Pet mart to buy Pazi but lost the blue face the next day. 1) lesson learnt - days ago, i bought a striped clown tang and it looks perfectly normal and greedy for the first few days. But kena white spots and left. I believe this affect my blueface but funny, i did not spot my blueface with ick or whitespots. I think kena flukes. Now my regal is much healthier and one thing, my juv emperor went missing overnight. Not sick, perfectly healthy but just went missing. I could not spot any bristleworm or any pest, but i spotted one crab before, hiding deep inside the LRs. Nvr see the crab again too. Haiz, i do not have a Q tank now, and what i can do is to to put new fish in pail with airstone. So sad..... a big tank with just a fish for CNY.....

Hi bro Did another scaping and added a coral beauty (choosen by my oc). haha, trying to get her to have the same frequency as previously she didnt like fishkeeping.) Got it at seletar farm (Ah pek) and quarantined it for half a day. Did a quick FW dip, ensure the temp and SG the same, before using mixing my tank water and the bag water into the pail. Now the fish inside the betta box, will be monitoring it for at least 3 days b4 releasing it in. To be honest, its quite tedious, to bring home a fish. haha. Will upload my new scape in a few days time. So far, so gd, all fish eating well, except that my lightings, not sure if its enough as im using the normal 5ft aquarium 40w lighting. Dun think its enough to enhance coraline growth.

Thanks bro Weeseng, yup, Definately, and glad that bro Eric is honest and he actually feeds his emperor before letting me confirm the fish. yup, bro Vtec, is keeping yr view in mind now. Im searching for a suitable chiller for this 5ft as well as checking the size so that i can decide where i can place it if im getting it. Any advise for a small chiller but powerful enough for a 5ft?
