Anytime, i will give up my marine for my dog.Dog gives immense joy to the owner.But if you are a first timer, better get a puppy.( I am sorry to say that,but its only fair to you and the intended to adopt dog ).

I always support the idea of adopting oppose the idea of buying puppy.. The reason why there are so many abandoned dog is becos they just buy without thinking and farms just care about selling the puppies... Even with the microchip in play now, a lot dogs are still being abandoned... They should make the microchip compulsory and fine the owner if the dog is abandoned...

A puppy takes up more time than you have for the first 6 months, training and such. And then joy for the next 13 years. You'll probably end up in a doggy forum than here ;(. I prefer my dog over any hobby anytime.
