  1. Hi Terence The basic equipment that you may need to get are as follow: 1) Protein Skimmer 2) Fluidise Reactor (For phosphate media - Ideally Rowaphos) 3) Return pump 4) Chiller (To maintain water temperature - Essential for reef aquarium) 5) T5 lightset 6) Wave maker (Optional - may get vortech or tunze) Other than the hardware, you will also need to do some research to understand the various parameters (e.g. pH, NO3, kH, Cal, Mag and phos) and understand the relationship between the parameters. Patience is the key to the success. After setting up the tank, let your tank cycle for at least 2 weeks to a month before stocking up slowly. Best regards
  2. Hi You may try Marine Life. I bought mine pair of clown there. The fishes there are well conditioned and healthy. You can also get valuable advice from Henry too. Best regards
  3. Hi Me not expert but just wish to share my experience. Hopefully it is helpful. I have changed from MH to 8 x ATI T5 for about 6 months with a photo-period of 8 hours. My 6 Maxima clams are placed between 1 feet to 1.5 feet from the light and they are doing very well. Thus, there shouldn't be any problem if you reduce your photo-period from 12 hours to 8 hours. Best regards
  4. Hi Soggy! May i know whether your tank is a mature tank? I also depends on how much you are going to add.
