  1. I believe protein skimmer alone might not be enough. Surface skimmer is needed. For your protein skimmer, you got to freq change the airstone. FOWLR (Fish Only With Live Rock - is the easiest setup in my opinion) No chiller needed, just freq water change) If you intend to have coral (at least 2x Fan is needed for your tank size) You can get them easily with low wattage (save electricity ) Yes, get more liverock... stack them up with hiding place for your livestock. If possible, do not stack the liverock till touching the tank inner glass. (So in future, it is easier to clean the algae)
  2. I think you also may need a Surface skimmer as you are using external filter. Good luck...
  3. Are you planning for FOWLR? Preciously I have the exact setup as you on FOWLR (2years plus) with no chiller/ Fan. (of cos not recommended) You definitely need more liverocks.... at least 10kg more...
  4. New addition.... but this Star poly not opening yet. Any advise?? in tank for 6 hours still have not open, Zoas & Yuma beside no problem..
  5. Nope, if fragging, will be out of water to avoid stirring the stabilise water. Not sure if they are consider big enough to be frag... Any idea where to get cheap ceramic for the frag?
  6. Milky substances..... trying to fertilise haha Will try to monitor which rock they are in and try to remove them. Surprise 3pcs of worms in 1 rock...
  7. I think the best to avoid any toxic is to remove the Yuma from the tank before fragging. (read this from some website)
  8. Oh, alright... will go to GO look look see see...
  9. http://web1.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=698722 Just found this website showing fragging of Yumas. ANyone tried it before?

  11. Wah... maybe will try to put some prawn in to tempt them & also to aid in the cycling process...
  12. Hi, have you set up? Anyway, for your information I have found 1ft T5 lighing in Aquamarine, think it is 16W. (Blue & white). I have used surface skimmer before, very troublesome. Always have to monitor the water level. Even worse if you have fans blowing, maybe every few hours the surface skimmer will be 'struggling'/ Good luck..
  13. I think I saw 2 of those.... as of now + 1 crab.... Dunno how many more of those worms. hope to keep sexies...
  14. Bro, this 24G Nano tank, what is the size? 1 half ft?
  15. I saw this from same worm in my liverock But like you mentioned, they are always in hiding! Almost impossible to remove.
