  1. Low kelvin bulb, you can get it from any lighting shop that particularly deals with industrial lighting MH etc.. or if not u go straight to osram spore, any kinds of bulbs to tubes that u need it osram have it.. Sorry, missed out u mentioned 6500k bulb. For water plants bulb are the same too (yellow warm colour)..
  2. For others brand of bulbs 150w, 250w, 400w (single/double ends) you can get it from aquamart (aquamedic ). They shifted to the same place as G.O, the coffin shop side. Aquatechnic used to have 150w germans bulbs but they have just closed down.
  3. My personal experiences and just a share of infor when if your lights need future product support. I bought a G2 230W and a lens cover last 2yrs ago. It was over white colour when full blast with 4 group (3w semi-led/30w cree) when lighting up my sps mostly turns brown colour till today. I decided to purchase lots of 3w blue and violets to replace the 3w white semi-led last year and reduce the time for cree 30w x 4 white, timer was replace once b4 after 2mths due to timer control went out of control. This yr i came to know that DE-lighting having a promotion trade in the G2 and top up few hundreds and get the Razor. I was told by DE-lighting that i could add in red, green, pink for G2 etc for more colours, i did place order for the add on colours and DE claimed he will. I did a self calculation and decided to stick to G2 and a last try again to see if it helps. 1) 3 x sms follow-up of asking when the other colours 3w could arrive? But no reply from DE sms (1mth), if called hp personally, DE claim i will call you later but again NO SOUND. 2) After 3 x of follow ups for the past 1.5mths of no reply from sms, i decide to go down personally to DE and DE claimed that think last time sold out those blues and violet and if i recalled thats all i have. I will order for you. 3) After 3wks again to chk for arrival, called up DE. DE said i call you back later. But no sound from DE. My conclusions of sharing my personal experiences are wheather LED works or doesn't works (whatever brands) for your sps and you spend a thousand $, No product support for old models when new advanced models keeps promoting. No interest in doing business on small little back up things if you need (a 2yr old product) while only interest the latest models. Supplier does'nt come clean, DE just doesn't want to say i no longer support G2... Eg. LED mentioned lifespan estimate 4yr/5yrs whatever brands or how advanced models keeps coming into the mkt, are you still able to get product support if in between less than 5yrs if you need spare parts ???
  4. Hi bro, if u want to use other systems u can go to West Coast there at Hong Leong Garden Shopping centre, Marinelife to take a look on the DI system.
  5. Anyway, i heard that M.L or other outlets now provide free phosphate test with the cartridge to be bring there or even O.P . My wrong assumption as the above paragraph. An apology. Classified with Henry, It was in response to a concerned customer who bought a T tube from another LFS. He performed Phosphate test on one of his existing T tube unit to verify and quell his own doubt if phosphate is indeed removed after treatment. The test rescult showed 0 phosphate. <Salifert PO4 test kit>. He invited the concerned customer to his shop to see the rescult as a service to dispel his doubt. He is not offering any free PO4 test services.
  6. Actually i am just working in the hospital doing some washing with DI water. So called "Dish washer" in the hospital. Free time log on n share some stories...
  7. Hi everyone, I have checked with everyone who used the tube n T new design for those who has been using for the past few years n its about for the past +- 6years" local made". They claimed so far facing without any problems at all! Some even claimed this product had saved their tank n even the animals lives. Even in the 1000 n the only one who has ever faced a problem, just bring it back n the supplier will give a responsible response. HE or SHE Will do something about it. Well most people bought it n they have no problems!!! Anyway, i heard that M.L or other outlets now provide free phosphate test with the cartridge to be bring there or even O.P . Will as wat the above name mentioning about wat about those who does not use DI/RO? Well there are a lot of ways of how u do it with ur knowledge as well as experience. The questions is wat kind of grade corals n fishes ur keeping? SPS? Do u still continue buying corals n fishes for the past years n years? Like wat i said its " ren wei". Up to u.
  8. DI does removes chlorine, phosphate etc.. wat the ad says. Like wat some people prefer not to use so much on adding chemicals into the reef tank. So called, instant process. Well when ur media is freshly bought ones just go dwn to whom u buy from n carry out salifert phosphate test law... seem an la! As for the price its ren wei wat!!! If like that industrial close shop leow..... Hospital use rain water by then to wash things...
  9. I have read the comments about the local DI. Just wants to share something with u guys more about DI system. As wat Maxima mentioned about the phosphate reading and about wat the <dont get con or DAM fool> etc. I am neutral with this product and would like to solve the problems used by the people in the first place. About wat Awnsers had early mentioned, when a new di media is freshly used at the reading of zero Conductivity in the first place u should test it. When u used to a certain volume with a higher reading of conductivity or even exhausted then u will get the phosphate reading. Iam working in the hospital and also needs to handle DI water sometimes. Wat i know is that all media are not manufacture local. S`pore dont have this kind of talent manufacturer till now in Manufacture in resins. DI system no matter how, does not contains phosphate at all, when it is at zero conductivity and with the proper n correct ways of test methods used. I saw the local T design and personnally feel that this manufacturer has a high creative in this product in its way. It may looked simple but with full of pratical n mechanical reasons behind of doing n fixing in such a way. For the past few years, the tube designs had never heard of phosphate problems during the fresh media from friends. Think about it guys? Why some hobby personnel with years in reef using DI/RO n their live rocks does not have black alage when topping up or changing water?
