  1. aiya... cannot bear the long, torturous journey to dive in malaysia mah.. so better take a week off, fly somewhere and enjoy all the dives... red sea ah? i was in egypt for 2 weeks last year but didn't have the opportunity to go diving there... manado i also wanna go, sipadan i also wanna go... and i'm also thinking of perhentian... other country i wanna go diving in is probably philippines. my maid was from cebu and i think she can put me up in her nice, big house (paid by her almost 10 years with my family @ $500+ p/mth).
  2. hiaks... ok.. sweetlips then... can kiss not? since its sweet?? haha... and hey, where's ur dive pics?? did ur 'torch idea' work?
  3. hmm... sipadan expensive ah? and no leh, never kenna TOTO (though I wish) coz never buy! haha... I endeavour to do at least 3 dive trips a year!! i've done 2 oredi this year, Perth & Phuket so next one... in the planning process! I also hoping to go diving during the long weekend end of this month but dunno where to go! hehe...
  4. bluish tip acro and damsel fishes
  5. "Oops... u found my hiding place?"
  6. ok, here are more photos from my phuket trip... moorish idol... speedy gonzale...
  7. yeah, nice... esp the lobsters!! lots of marine life bustling there... i shd make that my next dive destination!
  8. my 2 sun coral @ feeding them... and no, they are not dyed...
  9. will keep a lookout for them... i guess they should be compatible with those gobies that i have now? what do they feed on and any special care required?
  10. new acquisition... clown goby (i got a pair of them) but only managed to capture one of them in this photo... they seem to be quite camera shy! and oh! all the gobies have finally start eating the cyclopeeze i put in...
  11. i collected him last thurs so he's a week old in my tank... but i own him for 2 weeks+ coz i paid for him and Henry monitored his behaviour and eating habits before i collected him... and i'm still monitoring him now.
  12. haha... i also previously bought a 'orange' anemone that turned out to be yellow instead... @#$%^
  13. i beg to differ... their defence was good today... dudek caught a couple of balls that he would normally let in! dun be sour grapes lah... every team has its ups and downs...
  14. Thanks! I think he's doing ok in the tank... a bit shy though (will usually hide behind the rocks when I go into the room) and I make sure he gets his share of food since I have a bunch of really greedy fishes.
  15. haha... monkey see monkey do?? unfortunately, that's our world and i'm sure u've done that some point in ur life 2. anyway, its good to always find out more about a fish before attempting to keep it. I'm sure the price is a deterent for many anyway. If ur question was directed at me, yes I do know what they eat and I know where to find its regular supply of food. I bought the fish from Henry and its my practice to ask questions before buying the fish. And oh, what a way to start off ur 1st post! hahaha...
  16. hmm... sick ah?? how to tell?? he wasn't really moving around much in the tank... is that an indication? i was also told that they are hardy and fast so i was also surprised to find him dead in the morning. the other goby in my tank is still alive though. i'm using normal tank lights for that tank so dun think its very strong....
  17. eh! why keep removing me from manning the booth?!?! i've added myself again!
  18. hmm... what else could have killed the griessingeri then? mine is an established 2ft tank (running for 1.5 yrs oredi), just recently converted from eel to goby tank. i found him upside down 2 mornings ago. perhaps you can enlighten me what other possibilities? and perhaps share what husbandry you carry out?
  19. a bit too late... woke up y'day and found my griessingeri dead... thanks to the 2 bristleworms that I spotted!! Is it possible that my choco chip starfish can consume the body of the griessingeri? I found him at the spot where I found the body of my griessingeri when I came home in the afternoon.... and he stayed there all the way until this morning!
  20. If I have gobies in the tank, can I still use this trap?? I'm worried that my gobies will be trapped instead!! I just spotted 2 bristleworms in my goby tank and yes!! they look so yucky that I really want to remove them!
