Hi Sherman. Just some recommendation if you don't mind the brand. I have been using Jebao FM series pump for my tank, not the DC type. For the 10K rating, should be able to around SGD100 brand new.

There are quite a few good tank maker where you can start with your tank and cabinet. During that period, you can source for your equipment ( chiller, skimmer, etc ). For long run, you may opt for drop in coil for cost saving, but the trade off would be initial higher investment.

Maybe will do some shots this weekend after changed some maintenance done.

Reefer decided not to take due to size too big. At such, the tank has gone to dispose area with the help of the cleaner. Hi Mod, please help close this thread.

Just something which I'm able to give in allowing other reefer to make full use of it. Since the tank is using 12mm glass, will require some moving cost where my ways of giving will help in minimize the overall cost. Happy reefing....

The source of heat comes from equipment and lighting. The less equipment inside your tank, the temperature increase slower. Of course if have deep pocket, then can spend on better brand that generate less heat during operation. I would said most of the heat comes from your return pump or water pump. For me, I'm only using one return pump and the pump from the skimmer Furthermore I have just changed from Resun 1HP chiller to 1HP compressor with drop-in titanium coil.

Let's slowly wait for your next project.... Enjoy the chiller but bear the hot air plus fan noise.. If has the time, can always get a similar fan which is more quiet.. Or just stick to your upcoming plan.
