Hi could any bro pls advise me how to change the existing nano stand which have the nano tank on it. Currently due to my chiller thermo stat spoilt and it make my tank come out with lots of water droplets on the tank wall and this indirectly cause the nano stand door get rusty and the door of the nano stand to get spoilt and difficult to open. Therefore if I would to get a new stand for my nano tank, how would u change it? Pls advise thk

Yesterday when i was back home, I realised my nano tank is like a fridge it is at 18degrees...I check on my Resun CL450 on its setting, it was set at 26degrees and i also check on the calibration it was accurate as well according to the digital temperature of the water and the display showed on the chiller. So could any bro here please advise me whether is the sensor in the chiller faulty or the thermostat faulty or other stuff inside there is faulty. Please advise. Deeply appreciate for your help. Need bro here to enlighten me 1) which exact model should I buy frm sim lim tower? 2) does any kind soul have the connection wiring from the controller to the chiller diagram. 3) can I use on my resun cl450? 4) the temp sensor must put inside the fish tank right? 5) do we still need to power it up with our home 230vac or as long as connect to the chiller socket for the external thermostat would do? For the past one yr, i had been using NSW for my 24G nano tank... every weekend had to drive to either coral farm or pasir ris there just to get one pkg of NSW, and my wife is complaining. anyway I would like to switch over from NSW to salt mix. I would like to check with bro here, whether is it troublesome if i would to switch from NSW to salt mix? Is there anythings we need to look into? Since now currently my tank is NSW, how to switch it over to salt mix? With this change, would it kill my fishes? Would the bacteria died becos of this? Please advise. Thanks.

A very stupid question to check with bro here. Which lighting do u think would contribute on the algae grow? Blue or white lighting? Please advise. For currently, in my nano tank, there is two PL lighting. One bulb tube consists of white and blue and the other bulb is just blue and blue. Therefore, i am wondering is it becos due to the two blue blue lighting instead of blue and white lighting contribute to the grow of algae.

So far my trigger still had nt eat my shrimp.. I keep my finger cross. By the way, is it normal for the trigger fish to split out those sand onto rock n coral? If to have coral such as leather n mushroom, would it cause any harm to the coral since this trigger keep vomit sand onto them. Pls advise. Thk

Recently I had purchased a triggerfish and I realized that it always like to fill the mouth with sand to split it all over the place. Is it common? For if I going to have coral in my tank, would this triggerfish damage the coral since he like to split sand all over. Pls advise thk

sorry i am just curious on this algae thingy, currently since there is existing algae on example my live rock and wavemaker. if i add in those phosphate remover such as Rowaphor and etc... would the algae just die by itself or it would come/drop out from the liver rock automatically? As for the lighting, must I totally off the lighting or reduce the hr of turning on the lighting? If totally turning off the lighting for days would it affect the fish n corals? Please advise thanks

Can anyone tell me how u usually scrub off the algae from the live rock? Do you scrub it off using the toothbrush in the tank or take out the liverock and put the liverock in a bucket full of seawater or ? For i hear people mentioned that scrub the algae from the rock would remove the diatom... therefore may i know what is the right method? For currently my tank is overrun by green algae or the tank wall and rock as well. As I read from the forum, we must reduce the food and lighting as well. May i know what you all mean by reducing the lighting? Off the light of the tank for few days or reduce the number of hours of the lighting? If off the lighting for a few days, would it affect the livestock Please advise. thanks.

Currently I realize that there is some green hair algae on my live rock and I get to know frm this forum that some bro use toothbrush to remove it on the live rock.
