  12. i am a great fan of yumas n rics... currently setting up a 2 ft juz for them hahaz.... the tank will be solely for rics n yumas... tank still cycling.... so tink i am in the list
  13. juz leave it be... bear wif the smell for awhile... it is cause of the dieoffs from the rocks... part of the curing n cycling process... this will jump start the nitrogen cycle for the tank... stuff dies n decay n bacteria breaks it down into ammonia... then the areobic bacteria kicks in to break ammonia down into nitrites... then into nitrates.... anerobic bacteria then converts them into free nitrogen molecules... so juz bear wif it....
  14. hi yellowbelly... hmmm frm ur setup i tink ur bio filtration capibilities of ur tank is not enough.... if u wan to keep more livestock.... u sld actually add more liverocks to recycle for another month... coz livestock adds to ur bioload... as for the sand wld suggest u add more to a deeper depth... it takes abt 1 yr for the deep seabed to mature.... meanwhile tahan the temptation to buy more livestock get liverocks...
  15. i've asked a owner abt liverocks he told me somebody got caught inporting therefore the stock on market now is very little.. all leftovers lah so all the rocks now damn ex...

  17. hi i am new to this hobby but i think for a one feet tank u shouldn't keep damsels together wif other fishes as damsels are fierce fishes... think 1 ft is hard to maintain oso... coz any evaporation could be a huge jump in salinity and no much filters can be used for tis type of setup
