  1. hi! i also just returned from HK. went to fish street 3 times over 5 days! AMAZING.. the amount of corals and fishes that're sold there. And the prices!! so tempting.
  2. wow! beautiful anemone.. i want. too bad no facebook, if not can see more nice corals.
  3. yup. the "shrimp juice" works well. just keep in mind that the skimmer works harder, that's all.
  4. maybe high phosphate level too..
  5. hmm... i'm not sure, as i'm also new to zoa keeping. but hazard a guess.. could be due to lighting and water parameters? any seniors can help out?

  8. hmm.. my zoas don't seem to stretch. they're placed right on the sand bed. is that ok? and any specific coral food to recommend (cos they like not growing lei)?

  10. oh, so if i have to change water more frequently, is it better to change water that is mixed with the synthetic sea salt or the water that can be bought from farms? any difference actually?
  11. need members' advice... Just tested water yesterday. All ok except phosphate. it's kind of on the high side. so the question is: 1)what causes high phosphate and 2)any ways to reduce it?
  12. Hi there! Fairly new to marine keeping. was wondering what type of conditions would help zoas to grow? e.g. light intensity and flow?
