  1. Bro interested in your torch. How big is it?
  2. Hey there. IMO: 1. Tank that size with frequent water changes require no skimmer. 2. To be very safe, theoritically, not many. Use this as a guide... http://www.howmanyfish.com/#page=page-1. Other seniors might have their own valuable inputs. Just wait for their replies. I'm no expert.
  3. Thanks bro for the link. Sheds some light....
  4. Hi all. Have anyone used the product mentioned? If yes, ordered from the site got any problem? Or can find locally? If were to order such product, any problem with Singapore customs? http://www.aquabella4aquariums.com
  5. Wah.. so soon upgrade again?! Cannot resist right?
  6. Mine too, sometimes. Normally my flame angel will steal the food from my BTA. So me become security guard when feeding the BTA.
  7. Ever since converting to FOWLR, I still do keep some leftover corals in my sump. One or two did not survive, but the followings do. Just a very small collection though. Nothing fancy. Taken with Xperia V in water.
  8. Sump depth around 1.5'. Between par to water around 6". Just keep hardy ones.
  9. I used part of my sump to keep softies and lps. Use par38 full spectrum as the light source. So far so good. Finger crossing.
  10. Just want to share the difference. Top pic using only 9x1w white(x6) and blue(x3)LED. Below pic is when using 12x3w full spectrum: 6 royal blue, 2 violet, 1 red, 1 green, 2 white.
  11. Yeah... The 2 blackies are shy fellows. The browny always being chased away by the purply. Luckily just harmless chasings.
  12. Awesome! Who needs other tv channel with this channel always turned ON? PURE 3D!
  13. Now wishing to have a macro lens. Have always been dreaming in taking close up pics of marine lives.
  14. I'm no expert myself. But to share my experiences I'm located at woodlands weekday night. Can come over when I'm free. But i repeat, I'm no expert.
  15. $200 I think can be achieved if get freebies and 2nd hand items here from fellow reefers. A bit difficult though but possibilities are there. If need coaching, here got a lot of gurus. I remembered when I just started, using existing 30x30x30cm tank come with lights, purchased live rocks, sand, filter media, salt, no skimmer, DIY cpu fan... all less than $200. But not include livestocks and corals. Need to closely monitor water parameters though. A lot of top ups and regular water change needed. Slight deviation in parameters may cause harm to livestock. Happy reefing and welcome to this poisonous hobby...
  16. Thanks Bros, but it's way too far below then cool. Just choose a song that pops up first from Google search, spend not more than 10 mins of shooting and 30 mins of editing. Really amateurish. Spontaneous act. Video: Sony NEX-VG20 Lens: 18-200mm Editor: Final Cut
