  8. Haaa ... it should be with me ard a month liao or more... will PM you to collect my lunch in June if it ever make it! btw this is one "life-hard" two spot... jump out from the main to the sump (beside) on the first day and survive in my tiny refugium for 3 days agree it's hard to keep ...maybe I should change "worth keeping" to.... Worth trying very hard to keep
  9. at last added 2 fire goby and no fighting I think basically fire goby and two spot are two different type... at least they look different will prevent them from fighting. ya two spot not easy to keep.. but luckily this one quite comfortable in my tank maybe got lotsa space to hide...especially under the big prata and squamosa! most importantly no threat from my crazy ex-yellow tang But I find this two spot a VERY good fish... really clean up the sand bed n no sand throwing.... worth keeping, highly recommended.
  10. sps crab...what purpose does it serve? when I got my sps, it came with 2 crabs. One yellowish hairy little crab and another blue/white crab.
  11. as long as rio can do the job and if it last long enough, factoring in replacement cost and electrical bill, to bring the total cost down when compare to pressure-rated pump.... why not?

  15. understand salifert is one of the recommended brand... is there any other trusted brand? how about tropic marin? pls advice
  16. have been using tropic marin salt all the while but since I started to measure magnesium has never gone pass 1300 convicingly. lately try out coralife, just changed about 20% of water and mag has hit 1500! one up coralife! and ....tropic marin.... out the window!
  17. I always get 7.8 or lower when measured with salifert and hardly hit 8.0 no matter how I add the reef buffer. Finally salifert used up so I tried tropic marin and another brand the result is 8.2. Is salifert a bit out? do you encounter this?
