    ATI tubes

Would just like to start another thread so as to leave the other thread HOT thread alone. I'm sure a lot of us here are interested to get our hands on the ATI tubes but not sure when they are coming. Bro thc, heard that it's coming... can give us a rough estimate? I think a lot of us here might want to wait a while if it is coming within this 2 months If not... maybe we have to get D&D first No need to worry abt giving an estimate la... if cannot get also nvm, u r just doing us a favour Just wanted to know how's the progress like
  2. Then I think you need to white-balance your camera. The picture looks really blue.

  5. Yup. I watched that too... really feel like going there to dive.. but no money!!
  6. Your calculation is wrong la... Don't scare ppl Take the 400w chiller running for 8hrs a day... 400/1000(kW) x 8hrs = 3.2kWh/day Cost per day = 3.2 x $0.2102(our tariff now) = $0.67264 So it cost only $0.67264 per day to run the 400w chiller for 8hrs a day... (idle time negligible) Cost per month = $0.67264 x 30 = $20.1792
  7. I don't think its worth it to downgrade to another chiller. First, you lose quite a lot of money when u sell this chiller second hand and then to buy a new one. The amount you lose can easily cover quite a few months or maybe more than a year of electricity bills on chiller only. Secondly, lower wattage of the same model also means lower power. The chiller has to run longer to cool your tank down. In the end, not much savings from electricity bill. If your new chiller can't cope in the coming hot spell, the electricity bill might even be higher instead. You can try explaining this to your wife... maybe no need to change
  8. I think Artica is considered low powered already. Don't think you can get a lower powered chiller with the same cooling capacity. If u still need a chiller for your tank, I would advise u not to tell.
  9. Anyone wants to swop? I have a lot of these discosomas spreading around... just caught 2 of these babies floating around. Just wondering if anyone wants to swop. Would like to increase the variety of mushies in my tank Preferably trade in the west. This is supposed to be a blue discosoma. But dunno why change to purple after under aquarium lights. Still looked blue under sunlight or LED light. Anyway, it looks like its turning blue after I changed my T5s. You can see from this picture. Green Striped Discosomas

  17. I have a DI unit from sealife lying around not being used. So selling it away for a token some of $10. The resin inside should still be working. You can test it using a TDS meter. Alternatively, u can get a replacement from sealife at $50. New one would cost $75. Product review found here: http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=166483
  18. I have a Resun CL650 for sale. Used for 1 year+. Less than 1.5years. Still in very good condition. It has not given me any problems at all. Able to cool down my 4x2x2 with no problem. Takes abt 30-45mins to cool down from 29-27.5. Asking for $250.
