hi fellow reefers, need some advise: i am cycling my tank with LR and 1pc of market prown, wif skimmer & pwrhead on; is it necessarry to turn on FR(running Rowa) and chiller during the cycling period? why? 1 of newly bought LR is having some foul smell ever since pick up from LFS(but i really like this piece). what is the best way of getting away wif this smell? i am putting into my cycling tank with some other cured LR. is water salinity must it be always 1.022-1.023 during cycling process? thank you.

heard some LFS pp saying that it is better to have a UGF(undergravel filter) below the sandbed (but must do some mod) to suspend the filter material (sand/gravel) above the bottom of the tank and draw water down through it. is it a must? can we just lay the sand down to the bottom of tank?

hi, intend to get Resun FR FBF1000 but do not know which pump to go, any Resun FR user can give me some advise? PL? to be honest, i am not sure, as it doesn't indicate as PL and the tube looks slighly "fatter" than my current PL tube, BTW its bulb is 35W. anyway, any interested? sorry forgotten abt COLLECTION place--> either PRis, Tampiness, Simei or Tanah Merah MRT statn.
