As in displaying the sump tank also ? Sump tank is already having a higher height clearance, pple rarely touch the sump unless clearing the skimz..

if it is a top view tank, go low on the surface current..

the wave is at the bottom, no wave on the top. the water is up to top for visual effect, can always bring the water height down from the overflow...
