  1. Next is HAILEA HC-130A CHILLER S$375 Boxed, never used Digital temperature controller Volume of water refrigerated: 50-300L Rate of Flow: 200-1000L/H Weight: 9.5kg Size: 338×218×325mm It's brand new. Figured it was good for my 12G nano. Shopee has it listed for $500 ish from a couple of Malaysian vendors.
  2. I am a lazy bugger. I've had all this equipment for 2 years but never got around to selling up the tank again. And now my wife is pregnant - and she has decided no more reefing for me Oh well I will have a baby to look after instead! so selling EVERYTHING. Will update this thread as I manage to take photos. I don't know what is market price, all I know is that this stuff has to GO. So if too expensive for you, just PM me and bargain a bit! Discount if you take EVERYTHING. Perfect for someone who wants to start a nano. First up is: 5 Stage RODI unit. $160 Lots of spare filters Run for a few months only, a few years ago Also including spare tap and quickconnect fittings I can't find details of the flow rate / specs so if someone has a good idea let me know. Lost original invoice / order
  3. Was just thinking the forum doesn't seem to be as lively as other countries (e.g. UK / US where obviously the community is much larger)
  4. Anyone have any good estimates of how popular the hobby is here? There are few LFS around - but of course there are way more freshwater tanks than reef. Do you think the majority of reefers in SG are on this forum?
  5. cpgcgvae - lol. Hope you don't buy a species to eat it!
  6. Sorry it hear it lesson learnt at least!
  7. The biggest concern is delivery (whether they have in stock is secondary imho).
  8. Luenny, can you give us an update on your marine journey?
  9. Have also noticed pricing for China made equipment seems to be much higher in SG than US or UK. Maybe due to volumes being much lower.
  10. I have a bunch of equipment about 5 years old. Wondering if I can: 1. Reuse bucket of reef salt? I understand the particles can settle. Can this be re-mixed up? It's quite solid salt now. 2. Reuse old test kits? I know they have exp. dates. Does that make them completely unreliable after expiry? 3. Live rock? I assume this is now dead, but can it be repopulated?
