  1. All livestock sold. Mods please assist to close thread Thanks SRC:)
  2. These are fiddler crabs from the genus Uca Semi-terrestrial species
  3. Shrimps collected! Elegance still available! Upz
  4. Oops, I would want to add also! My tank is 2ft cube and I think adding 1x emerald would be alright, so long got enough hiding places for them:)
  5. Reef-safe. They don't munch on corals and are not sinister unlike hitchhiker gorilla/hairy crabs. Can be compared to acropora crabs
  6. I have 2x strawberry crabs in my setup. My experience is with Stenopus shrimps instead. These shrimps haven't lost any limbs and they co-exist rather peacefully with the crabs, each keeping within their own territory on their rocks. Strawberry crabs are known to be the most peaceful of crabs and I occasionally catch sight of them picking on algae. I would also like to add several emeralds for algae control though. Got some grape-like macros which seem to spread like wildfire!
  7. Intense red colorations and the thinner black stripes are so contrasting! So much more interesting than even the Marshall Islands specimens
  8. Livestocks tentatively reserved for collection
  9. Selling the following: 1.Mated pair of purple-headed boxer shrimps - $20 2.Aussie purple-tipped elegance coral, been with me ~4 months, well-acclimatised and superb polyp extension. Fed occasionally with frozen food. - $50 Interested parties please contact me at 92221037. Collection at Tiong Bahru area.
  10. Mostly red with green streaks. Got another piece is red But what's intriguing was the structure of the polyp. Makes it stand out from blasto/scoly PS: Anyway, did some reading from Reef Builders and found that the real Acan maxima hails from Middle East while these so called acan maxima is actually scolymia australis. Whatever the case, this LCK shipment indeed has many unique pieces of coral. Coral junkies should really go down and have a look and judge for yourself
  11. Spotted A few pieces of acanthastrea maxima at LCK. This coral was made famous by Eddie Hanson and quite a collector's item. Now regretting that I didn't get it..haiyo
  12. My initial guesses were on that as well. But the vesicles on these are more oval than round and they creep alot(ALOT)! I read that not much animals are willing to eat grape algae?
  13. I don't intend to add tangs to my setup as it's only a 2ft The other day I was looking at urchins, do you think they'll help? Cuz I have some hair algae outbreak at the moment as well. Yes, hand removal is a pain in the arse chore for these algae
  14. Have been experiencing the above problem for several months and boy do they grow fast!! I am running Aluminium based phosphate remover, alittle under dosage as I'm afraid of overdose. And my skimmer is a JNS ConeS CO-1. Nitrates are in almost non detectable at 0.5ppm I would like to know of there are any natural predators of such macro-algae. Many thanks
  15. Hi bro, ReDDevils is selling his YT, you might want to check out his thread here:)
  16. Iwarna: Swalesi basslets Chinstrap Jawfish Ah Beng: Last piece of borbonius Yasha paired with A.randalli Long Nose Hawk
  17. Is this a CB specimen? A while back.. there were talks about a breeder acquiring a pair and trying to breed them
  18. 2 Pieces to let go at $15 1 piece just removed from my rockscape and has macroalgae/tubeworms growing on it etc. Other piece is leftover from my rescape, bought from Iwarna and is good for using as base rock. All LR is cured and clear of pests(crabs/mantis) and no bristleworms Free purple death frags (got 2 frags but is dark purple not bright purple) for those who can take all rocks together. 19. Nice corals! The pink milli is stunning!
  20. Yes, its most likely Enhalus acoroides http://www.wildsingapore.com/wildfacts/plants/seagrass/enhalus.htm Its a good candidate for refugium setups !
  21. Sea Grass, along with mangroves and macroalgae all serve the same purpose I suppose, as good nutrient exporters and in the natural habitat they are nursery for juvenile fish and plenty of micro-life! Species wise quite hard to differentiate but seems like the common kind found along our coasts. Need to do abit of searching...
