Hi, Achilles Tang, it ok with me, I do not want any benefits commercially from this forum, because I personally own a few companies in IT in S'pore & Australia . On regards of getting cheap & good products which I can get much better prices than LFS WHICH I hope to can help those who are new in this hobby.For instance like cableguy who got the tw6 teco chiller through my contact was an good example.As for Each time I order some marine Supplement products & equipments, It will go via my own company's Account & Freight Services That why i may able get good price .But of course, I will only help for those who really need it who have spending limitation.Pls do not misunderstood my kind intention.All I want is to help to better understanding of this hobby.Because I personally witness a few of my few reefers were slaughter by LFS. Btw By having your great sgreefclub forum was a great idea. Pls Try Combisan which was developed by Peter Wikens Which have full spectrum marine supplement.! It really promotes the development of pink calcareous alage and it also promotes tessue repair in fish and brilliant coloration in photosynthetic corals. Etc

Cableguy. Nice setup you have, for the fact that you just started it recently. If you want any lobang for cheap, new & good products just drop me a line. According to picture of your chiller it is better to put your chiller outside of your cabinet so that your chiller has a cross ventilation.!! As for your live rock, just put about 12ml of cobisan per week to develop of pink calcareous algae for your 4ft tank. It will look wonderful to see all the liverock look PURPLE IN COLOUR !!

Hi kai, brand new teco 680 cost $1800 at aquatechic. Try to buy second hand for startup. It is very reliable if you know how to hunt a good second hang one.

boxfish, I'm not from SEACHEM, I Being in this hobby for the past 20 years since the 80s. I tried many seachem products but NOT all SEACHEM ARE GOOD!! ONLY CERTAIN SEACHEM PRODUCTS AER REALLY WORKS LIKE SEAGEL, PURIGEN , PHOSHGUARD JUST TO NAME A FEW.

hi dodo, sorry to reply so slow, you can put your purigen in the sump up to six months. Rinse before use. Use in a fine mesh filter bag. Each 100ml treats up to 100gallons for up to six months. Exhaustion is indicated by a discoloration of the beads to dark brown or black. Purigen rapidly removes nitrogenous waste, polishes better than diatom filter and it has no impact on trace elements, that's why I had being using it for the past 8 years.It really makes the difference to see your reef tank look crystal clear!!!

Purigen is an excellent product!!! It also make your water crystal clear!
