I believe that it has to be airtight so that you can add an air flow regulator to regulate the flow of the air into the chamber to determine the size of the bubbles? I don't know...hmmm

are you able to post of how you regulate the air flow for the nozzle? Thinking of whether i might be able to add in a beckett nozzle to my needlewheel skimmer (2-in-1)

Just bought a Macro AS350, fitted it onto my 3ft tank and found that the outlet is spewing a lot of bubbles, is there any way i can get it to just output water and not make the water full of bubbles? Can't see the fish at all. Btw i'm not using a sump so skimmer output is direct into tank.
