honestly, i feel that its always better to get a bigger unit so that u wont have to overwork your chiller. Thus it will go easy on your elec bill. Just like what LightingStrike said, it very much depends on those points that he mentioned. But most impt of all, what lights are u using ? Im using MH250 + 4 x t5 and im using the cl650 and i still think its not good enough

Hi all fellow reefers, calling out to all H&S skimmer users, am just wondering how did you guys tune your air valve ? in terms of pecentage ? Do you add an additional valve at the end of the air value to control ? As i owned the 850L insump model, it uses a aquabee 2000f/l pump to run it. Am also toying with the idea of changing it to the aquabee 3000f/l pump. Has anyone tried these methods before ? thanks for all advice and comments in advance

sad to say i have the same prob as u. but i was told that it wont do much harm. Mine always hovers around 7-8 dkH and cal stays above 500. But as for my case, i dun even own a CR, just a KR. pls do let me know if u got any ways to increase ur dkH ps. ive tried buffering but it comes down the very next day
