I have not tried any Hns skimmers, but seen them in performance. The needlewheel is exactly the same being used for Deltec skimmers. Most reefers would consider HnS on par with Deltec. Unfortunately i stay in the east and i wun want to trouble you.

that's very impressive!!! Looking at the skimmate, it has got to be better than most skimmers i tried. its good to have reefers testing out the skimmer. . perhaps can feedback to ATI or other brands on how to improve the performance with just a minor change.

I think your review will be more interesting than mine. i mean you are testing with different pumps and diffferent types of fleecewheels or needlewheels to see which one works best. For me, i just buy two commercial skimmers and try to see which one works better. Anyway u are not hijacking the thread. i think its productive. . do keep it coming. p.s. i am always interested to know if the reef octopus skimmer can be modify since its very similar to Deltec and Hns design. perhaps changing the pump slightly will dramatically improve the performance.

hey bro, i am travelling quite a bit this two months. Maybe wun have time to set up the tank. . . see how first. one tank enuff for me to sweat already. But kinda wasted running two skimmers on a single tank. experiment still going on. . . .
