what was the original buying price? with that it will be easier for buyers to put in reasonable price

bot an used skimmer, managed to get the pump going but it keep pumping at water level and not able to flow through the skimmer, i think they call it priming. I filled up the copartment with water but still the pump is not able to draw water into the skimmer to compklete the flow. anyone know?

I bought an used skimmer from a fellow reefer in this forum a few weeks ago. We made arrangement for me to pick up at his place in Bradell area, as he was not in town, I was told to get it from his maid which I went but maid say nobody pass down instructions. When he return from overseas, he sent the skimmer to my place, price was $40 but I paid $50 and ask him keep the change since he travelled all the way to my place(in BMW). I was too busy to setup my new tank till today. When I on the power, the power head doesnt move at all. I sms and call him, his line was currently not in service.In fact I sms him a week ago to ask him how to use this skimmer and where to put the filter but didnt get reply. any reefer knows what's wrong with the skimmer

Hi, just setup another 2 ft tank and i bought an used VIA Aqua multi skimmer from a fellow reefer a few weeks ago. took it out and on the power, nothing happen. Not sure if it is spoilt already. Anyway, I am looking for a cheap power head filter to cycle my tank water. also looking to buy salt. will be good if it is near bukit batok area. sms 90693634 if u have 1 to offer

my niger trigger though 6" big , never kill any of my fishes before. it does attack them once in a while. I did not see the murder taken place with my own eyes as the strip trigger always behave himself infront of me. it always look harmless but I cant explain why my fishes died immeditealy after bringing in the strip triger and they all died from injuries from fighting with others. it really puzzle me that it can attack bigger fishes and it does not have any injuries to itself at all

Just got a 3" strip trigeger(undulated) from another fellow forumer. I had a niger trigger abt 5" and bicolor angel + 5" blue tang in a 3 ft tank. They have been living together for the last 6 mths. I know triggers are aggressive but I thught since this is the smallest of all the current tank mates, it should be OK I brought it into my tank at abt 10am, watch them for a while, no problem. left at 12pm to go out, when I came back at 5pm, both my 5" trigger and bicolor angel were dead, and blue tang lying around grasping for breath. The small trigger looks the same and harmless, swimming around slowly, it really give me a shock anyone has green body with orange stripes trigger before? the other name is undulated. is it that aggressive? how do i treat my injured BT now?

yes, include hood and 3 ft lights but normal lights, cant remember pump brand, saw the price tag of S$45 on the pump. Qianhu only carry certain brands

Hi, can someone advise me the different type of lightings used for marine? I know MH - metal Halide - used for corals what about the difference between HO, T5, T4 NO etc what is PL tube? sorry for the questions
