  6. Just curious....I read somewhere in SRC that our tap water got some trace of nitrates? Izit true? Think I gona do some test....
  7. Depending on what you are keeping....isit FOWLR or reef or SPS or......
  8. Research and read up what you are going to keep i.e. how much, what to have e.t.c. most common mistake, I have committed this mistake as well!!!
  9. Good to know that you are persevering!! My experience from this hobby is this: 1) Decide on what you want to keep. I.e FOWLR, Reef e.t.c. 2) Research, study and plan. Understand and learn what you are going to keep and how to be successful, if not 98% will fail. Don't anyhow "cheong". My first time, I cheong, end up failing too . But second try, I research and learn/study (until my mother tot I taking exams!! ) and also save $$$ for at least 3 months before I execute my plan. 3) Try to use the best, or at least, reputable equipments. 4) This hobby is concern, patience is the keyword. Just sharing my experience!! Wishing you all the success!!!!
  10. Harloo all!!! Just came back from Ah Beng LFS at Pasir Ris (Not sure wat is the name of the shop, sorry guys!!! ) Was told by the storekeeper stocks from Bali, Hawaii and Philipines just arrive today . What I saw was: lots of Flame Angels 4 boxes full , about 5-8 pieces of Lemon Peel Angel, Coral Beauties, at least around 15 pieces of AT and many other fishes and corals. When I was there they were still unpacking the boxes But the highlight was the number of ATs at about 3" to 5" and also the one and only Gold-Flake Angel at 4" to 5" Was very tempted to buy the AT and Gold-Flake but my tank too small and Gold Flake too ex! So just bought a Lemon-Peel !! Hope is will survive though So hurry down check it out ya!!!
  11. Pygmy angels are very hard to catch in the wild cos most of them are shy and would hide in their caves. So the only fastest way for divers to catch them are to use cyanide. I personally avoid ls from Philipines (especially fishes) cos alot of them use cyanide to catch. Cyanide fishes 100% will die Went to a particular Pasir Ris lfs on Thursday and was told by the shopkeeper that the fishes are in the plastic bags for 3 days already and from Philipines!!! I walk out straight away!!! Just my opinion.
  12. Are the fans still available? Where is the collection point?
