  1. This is a block of zoas. Very ordinary brown with an orange nipple. What's really nice is that the zoas have grown and spread so it looks really natural. Will some frags of "jade ring zoas" to go along with it. $8
  2. I wish to sell off all the itsy bitsy small frags of corals here and there. I have some mushrooms, zoas etc. First one here is a plate. Can't really see but it has green fingers. Won't really be able to tell under my white light. It was damaged when I got it, half broken and I've nursed it back to health. $3 Collection on Sunday evening, call John @ 98375929
  3. Do you guys think that a co-current skimmer is better? or a counter-current skimmer. Co-current: water flow and microbubbles move in the same way towards the waste collection cup Counter-current: water flow downwards while microbubbles bubble upwards so they're in the opposite direction and hence the name counter current I just did up a skimmer sketch. Has anyone seen a skimmer deisgned as such?
  4. The ocean motion looks COOL! Will check back for reviews on it
  5. The article said they can be found at kusu island. My experience tells me that Kusu island is teaming with marine life at very shallow depts near its shores. However BE WARNED! THE CURRENT IS CRAZY! All it takes is a couple of minutes and you can find yourself drawn out into the deep sea
  6. canisters operate on a sealed siphon principle. unless your intake is ###### in air, you needn't top up the water. When I clean my canister and turn it back on, I experience microbubbles too because air was introduced into the canister. But the microbubbles go away after that. In your case I will logically deduce it to anaerobic activity producing gases that didn't have time to dissolve into the water and hence comes out through the outlet.
  7. why not? they won't be alive but at least they're fresh?
  8. qianhu will have. i bought mine at clementi 328. u describe to the boss. he will place order for u. not cheap i warn you first for that little plastic cup
  9. wah this kinda clam, I will also hope buyer is pilot lar.
  10. Mg is found in abundance in NSW so no worries. good lar, high Mg then coraline will grow. it will deplete over time.
  11. yes can. for convenience use garlic guard, if not juice your own garlic. defrost the brine shrimp inside the garlic juice and let it soak for few hours, then feed lor.
  12. the CONVICT tang is black and white, the yellow one i believe its not a tang
  13. agree with bro Earth. garlic works wonders. it won't go away immediately but the fish immunity will increase and after a week of regular garlic supplemented food, it will be well already. I've had 2 rounds of white spots and all cured by garlic.
  14. just take a wedge. position nicely, and take one hammer, one sharp and hard blow. finish.
  15. here's my sunny. imagine my tank without it and it'd look boring. coraline alot also no use.
  16. bro jervis, yeah i MIGHT cos my final go ahead to fly off to USA is still pending. i've considered asking family to take over but i don't think they're up to it. I use very funny equipment so if it malfunctions, don't think they'd know how to fix it. better close it down, then to get a phone call saying oh no, canister cannot restart or something and then every thing die. when i come back, hopefully i can save enough for a FOWLR living room partition! i already told my mum to reserve the spot for me if she so decides to renovate the house. bro godzilla. yeah! sunnies rock! suns are so rich and intense in their color. without them my tank looks bare.
  17. then you place them at the white spots lor. hehehehe! i think i like abit of greenish, abit of purplish a little bit of whitish. I HATE BROWN color the most
  18. bro. piero, your tank rocks are quick purplish and they look nice!
  19. hahaha bro godzilla, you think what? radioactive tiberium from command & conquer is it? one morning i wake up and coraline grow all over me. some more my tank just in my room. bro rx_gan, hahahahha! where got so good deal trade coraline frags. but you're right, good coraline frads are impt. Last time this reefer ask me how to grow coraline, i said u need good frag, I lend you. after you're done return to me but he don't beleive, rather spend money go by don't know what chemical. Anyway the deep blue sea might be closing, and if it does, i will sell of all my coraline rocks at $3-$8 depending on size and encrustation of coraline. Share my coraline with everybody.
  20. eh what is coraline die off? like all turn white? i think its happened to patches of rock here and there. how come like that ah? but over time the white become purple again.
  21. wah, new problem! haha! the rocks have been with me since the start. coraline grow grow grow until all the rocks from white turned purple
  22. After all the sluggishness, I still haven't added anything into the tank. It's still the same old tank. hahahahha! and coraline is just crazy.
