  1. Long time never been to LCK. Is LCK110 and LCK201 the same or different shop?
  2. This is what I observed, typically, those seaweed (nori) meant for sushi rolls are unseasoned. Only those that for people eat as snack or tibits type are seaseasoned. Of course, you can just taste it, that's the best way to tell it, if it is seasoned, then you eat it as snack!
  3. you can get from market stall selling dry food. or from supermarket like ntuc. China made around $2+, japan made around $5
  4. I use those roasted seaweed, flat sheet type, meant for sushi roll. Just make sure it is unseason type.
  5. they are openn today??? anyone know when sealife reopen after CNY?

  9. powder blue saw it at jr marine. anyone know the price of flame angel at iwarna can pm me? thanks
  10. In the first place, what did you do to get the ph to 8.8? It is quite unlikely PH will go so high if you did nothing to the tank, hence, my suggestion is try another brand test kit.
  11. Any use the above mention ph meter? Appreciate your feedback before I buy 1.
  12. Do you have a chiller? what's your water temperature?
  13. Thanks for the advice. I do know where is the leak. Is the sealant like super glue? Will it break if the pipe joint is turned? Reason is because the return pipe is connected to a flexible pipe which connect to the sump glass cover. Hence, everytime I changed filter wool, the pipe & joints all will moves (bad design I guess), this is the root cause to the joints leak. If need, I can post a picture when I get home.
  14. same here, after about 1 year, my GF pipe joints are leaking too, luckily it drips into the sump, so I just live with it
  15. It's 2.5 yrs, and he still not back to fix my cabinet. That time he said don't have a power drill, promise he will be back again to fix it as he said he wanted to deliver quality product. I'm quite impressed at that time, but not after 2.5 yrs of wait.
  16. Is it those comb type slit? If yes, it is to prevent fish (especially those small size) from going into the overflow compartment. My clown fish went in a few times! Have a hard time net it out.
  17. This is my guess; could it be micro bubbles? try off your skimmer for half an hr and observe.
  18. Is the trigger colour as shown on your picture? When must collect?
  19. I just added a salfin similar size to my BT, YT & PBT. No fighting at all. My guess is make sure the size is similar or bigger than the current tangs in your tank.
  20. Fish still available, just caught it in my isolation box today and the buyer tansk decide not to buy. Interested buyer can collect anytime today.
  21. Trying to understand why would stirring of sand increase the nitrite and ammonia. The detritus whether in the sand or LR is still inside the tank. By stirring the sand or pump blow at the LR, just make the detritus float in the water column and hopefully it can go into the overflow and filtered away by the filter wool. So, stir or don't stir the detritus still inside your tank and how can it have a sudden increase in nitrite and ammonia? Please enlighten me.
