Bro minsmarine,
Your thread seems to mention change of water and rescaping. To upgrade means transferring of livesand.....not too sure wil it kick up the nitrate level???
Anyone can advise how they upgrade?
Anyone can advise if I am upgrading my tank, what are the steps...ie what to do first?
- get new tank
- remove LS and put into tubs (flubberina sounds familiar?)
- keep existing water or throw??
- move sand to new tank and add new sand
- top up water
- cycling needed?
- placement of ls
DONE??
Please advise.
Thanks!
Can see that sometimes the fish stretches out its fins.....that is where the spikes are...but nice like bettas (fighting fish)....interesting fish.
I guess it will not sting a feeding hand but just be careful.
Aiyah, in reservist so missed the chance to Q for the prepared food. Anyway, it is a pity to see flaming when flubber is already so nice to offer what she has in excess. Cheers Flubberina!
Have a pair of true percs, one common clown and one sabae.
True percs hosting in my frog spawn

Sabae (due to latest addition hosting near a power head)

The formula will always get you a final number which is a multiple of 9. If you see all the multiples of 9 (i.e. 9, 18, 27, 36 etc) always the same symbol and the crystal ball always will show this sign.
Strong current will result in smaller bubbles. Mine open as big as the first section of your thumb at low current area but does not open when on high current area.
Can try using a power head to blow off the white stuff on the LR....had mine when I was cycling my tank too....took about 2 weeks before the white stuff (like tissue in the water) to get over....patience is the key.
It is actually greyish with little blue and purple.....all from Iwarna....sometimes there are very nice coloured ones amongst the more common ones, see those in auntie's tank in Iwarna....pinkish!
