  1. Yes, I saw this too!! If i do not have an existing, I would have bought it. The colour is very vibrant! Good catch. I was still wondering if this is a red sea specimen Try using Seachem entice to soak the food. U can buy this at seaview aquarium. Try brine shrimp or Angel formula too...
  2. In addition, I had to remove the LRs too to cure it. During the wee morning period, should you past your tank, turn on the light and see if you can see needle sized parasites on the glass wall..
  3. My tang used to encounter this when the tank is having a bout of white spot disease. It went away after a long period of hypo. Did you add in new fishes recently? Some strains of ick are hypo resistant. What is the salinity of your hypo. Mine went away only at 1.009SG. 1.012 did not manage to clear it.
  4. MWTS judging on interest as it seem not to get along with my powder blue. PM me your interest and price you are willing to pay.
  5. any emperor angel spotted in the east?(Adult or sub adult)
  6. After quarantine to get rid of ick, what about the remaining pods on them?? I see a variety.... wonder whats good or bad..
  7. I have previously introduced Chaeto which had introduced ick to the reef tank, thus eliminating the entire fish stock. Be it be from the LFS or reefer's tank, Chaeto comes with pods and many other stuff.... I have read that some of the pods are parasitic. How to ensure we do not introduce the wrong thing into our tank?
  8. This fish is relative easy to succeed provided u have a quarantine tank for it. Its quite easy to make it feed, but 99.999% of the time it will succumb to ick and you will have to hypo or copper it, which we do not do to the display tank
  9. I believe this is the only way to introduce when there is a resident pbt. Did you tried putting a mirror to the hybrid?? I did it on mine, and it almost changed to a powder black I would give up my hybrid if it does not work. Imo, nothing beats the brilliant blue of PBT.
  10. Some said that Regal angel is a shy fish, but mine attack blueface angel!! But nothing beats powder blue tang. Have never tried sohal Tang before...
  11. Reefkeeping's edition of April fools
  12. Eibli at pinnacle if i did not ID wrongly. Spotted only 1 rusty at ah beng. Call b4 u go down.
  13. Anyone been to Pinnacle's Padang shipment? Any magestic and power blue hybrid shipment again?
  14. The one i saw at pinacle was pbt x powder back with alittle bit of orange tail.. however it sure does look kind of wierd and did not really look nice.
  15. Look closely bro... Mine previously has some ick or parasite attack... u may wan to look closer to make sure ur purple T. is fine
  16. yes possible.... I used to have a juv blue ring pecking on adult regal.... Angels are known to have this behavior
  17. My regal started with a scale drop out. Now there is a growth/score over it (brownish area at the center of the body). I tried waterlife maraxyn but still could not get it better. Appetite is still good. Any experts around?
  18. It actually depends on how efficient is your biological filtration. Adding a new fish risks introducing new disease to the tank each time. I've seen my tank battling disease almost every time there's a new addition, sometimes loosing all the life stock due to infamous ick and velvet . It will be good to quarantine the fish for 1mth before adding into the main tank since u will be constantly adding fish. This also gives time for your tank to cultivate enough bacteria (to combat NH4 & NO2). Do also do plan how u are going to combat NO3. Its going to climb real fast
  19. Unless u have another male, they are probably just eggs. My previous pair's eggs hatch... wonderful scene but it ended up as fish food... Those that i have recovered ended up dead after a few days...
