yeah lor..then can have a tower of nitrate in the tank liao....hahaha but once in a while can pour them out to flush the stuff stuck in the bioballs mah...but meanwhile my 2012 still working well with my extrema...but was staring at the chamber and the thought of bioballs came to my mind

yeah...tempting hor... the water flow through the bioballs will be too turbulent for any stuff to be stuck on it turning your skimmer into nitrate factory....even if suay suay got stuck....can pour them all out and clean as part of skimmer maintenance procedure lor.. hmmmm....hmmmmm....

actually i feel that if diy more or less for personal use....i think aqua c probably close one eye...unless really spread like wildfire and people diy for personal sales...then i think step a teeny weeny bit over the line lor...so i also not surprised aqua c forced to take action...

yeah..i was thinking of getting seperately the orp and ozonizer...but if can all build into one unit..i no need to monitor the levels and tune the ozonizer up or down...can just set a level and when the level is reached, the unit cuts itself off....hehe... flubberina: can pm me how much the sanders one cost? i saw one in petma$# but din ask the price.....the casing very yellowish old looking....hehe..issit havent use already the casing oxidised liao..haha

some DE bulbs have the rare UV stop...like osrams bulbs...but their colour temperature is not suitable for reef usage.... those established brands like BLV bulbs..do not have this uv stop coating on their bulbs..i also wonder why

DE produces alot of harmful UV radiation and pain must be taken to ensure the glass provided does shield UV..otherwise your stuff will die under the light... single ended does not have this problem....
