  10. i kept observing the growth of coralline and other algae on the front glass. happy for the coralline. today felt it was unsightly and must clean liao, use the genting card but hard to reach some areas so not clean but still gotta use quite a bit of force. was thinking of a better idea.

  13. its a kind of jellyfish i think, helping him find out what is it.
  14. good design, i had one like yours, same principle, just no nice surface skimmer, my own surface skimmer. does the same thing but i did it with 40 mm pipe. working for 4 months.
  15. look what i found : " Mandarins tend to be rather picky eaters, preferring to feed from the bottom. Due to the relatively small size of their mouth they must be fed only small food items or finely chopped foods. As mentioned above they appear to do much better in aquariums with abundant live rock and/or plants. This may be due to the fact that there is an abundance of natural food items for them to feed on. In such an aquarium they will spend most of the day grazing amongst the substrate searching for food items such as small crustaceans (e.g. Mysids, amphipods, isopods and benthic copepods), small worms and protozoans"
  16. i guess most things dat picks on small crustaceans would be able to control isopods
  17. small mantis wont kill fish dat easily
  18. hehe.. i saw an isopod from my new LR on my yellow tang yesterday super kan chiong sia. did some research. then thought. mantis shrimp from the smashing type smashes the shell of crustaceans then consume it .. maybe can use them vs isopod then catch them hehe.
  19. its 3ft. 2ft i would not put yt. but 3ft is still not good enuff
