I have seen some bickering here and there but I guess it is common in all forums. However that being said, I do notice that ppl tend to flare up for no apparent reasons in their posting. Can only open 1 eye, close 1 eye. THere are a lot of helpful people out here though. Spoken to a few and all are fantastic & friendly. The forum is constructive most of the time unlike some other forums which ended up with loads of trash and "coded" language which only a small heandful can understand and follow. I have since boycotted other forums and am enjoying posting and reading from this forum more. It will be wonderful if ppl can be more tolerant and enjoy the virtual company of reefers in thsi forum.

Sorry to hear that, tineng. i have seen the post of some people selling stuff at less than 50% so i thought what I am asking is reasonable. (Example: red prizm skimmer at $90.) But I do agree that the value of some quality stuff do not depreciate as much. some are selling their CR with ARM etc etc and it is probably at about 40% discount. But I am not forcing anyone to sell if they dun want to lah. Believe in happy buyer - seller relationship. Anyway, I am intending to wait out for a week only. If there are no offers, then I will proceed to do my shopping..

If you are willing to let go something that you do not want or something that you have extra, please pm me. To save everyone's time, I am not prepared to pay more than 50% of the current selling price unless your stuff are still quite new. my new tank will be either a 2 ft cube tank or a 2.5x2x2 tank. looking for a beckette skimmer, chiller (1/4HP or higher) pumps, MH (250W), T5 actinic (24W or 39W), CR, CO2, tank, sump, ........whatever that can be used for my tank. Zooming in on details now after weeks of hunting around and preying on 2nd hand deals. 28"x 24"x24" tank 24"x12"x12" sump .................now 18 x 12 x 12 HS skimmer .......now getting B skimmer HS calcium reactor ......getting another brand 1X 150W MH ..............getting 250W MH 2X T5 actinic blue .........same 1 chiller 1/2 HP .............getting CL650 1 tunzes with controller ...same hmmm.............guess thats all

water condensation? I assume you have a sump. I used to have a sump tank and had the same problem. Had to cover the sump up to resolve that issue. If the sump is not the problem, then it could be the bubbles from your main tank. post a picture of your tank. that will give us a clearer picture

Seems like a very grey area. Sorry that things turn this sour. Maybe he is really in a bad mood that day. I am sure an amiable solution can be reached. A happy customer will always generate more sales. Try this, ask him to setup in your house. Then remember the setup and duplicate in the new buyer house. Sincerely hope all things will work out for you guys.

Gouldian, rockfish There will be some that disappoints you. But definitely there are others who appreciates your help. The percentage of those who disappoints you is normally higher than those who are appreciative. But if you have a minority that truly appreciate what you have done, even if it is a small handful, I think that reward supersedes alll form of disappointment. Have seen some of your posts and other helpful soul's as well, I think it is the passion of reefing that keeps the spirit strong. It is in your blood as long as you are in this hobby. So stay strong and continue to do good to the reefing community!

So I myself is not in favour of having the tank in the house too. you are right....the balcony is slanted. Would this have bearing on a 2 ft cube tank? jialat......
