  5. Hi, Just make a hole thru the collection cup, insert a L-shape joint, then seal it with either silicon or pvc glue. Run a tubing thru the L joint into any bottle. I used the empty bottle of seachem matrix, nice size and neat. Here's the pic of the diy setup.
  6. I'm using the NW-110 (the smallest one) for my 2ft cube. Here's the result after running it for 3days with only LR in the tank. Still cycling the tank, no LS yet. So far so good. Only prob with this is the amount of micro bubbles produced from the outlet piping. Waiting for the skimmer to run in and see if this improves.
  7. U can go to Clementi 328. They have Hikari wafers for algae eaters.
  8. Hi all, Anyone can advise what flowrate pump should I use for Resun CL280 chiller? Currently running my return pump thru the CL280 then back to tank, the chiller slows down the flow rate so much. Think I gotta get a separate pump for my chiller. Any advise on what pump should I use? Also, issit advisable for the return from the chiller to return back to the sump instead of the tank? This is becos my tank only have 1 hole drilled for return piping, no space for the return of the chiller piping oredi. Pls advice..... just started a new tank only so many problems liao.....

The brian on the sand bed has recovered it's colour nicely, only the one on the LR is still slowly recovering. Thanks to all the advise, the brains are looking good now. Very fleshy now compared to a month ago, guess when i bought them they're not very healthy, trying to nurse them back to health now.

  19. Hi bro, I just bought a small hammer (2 heads) from Harlequin this afternoon. Price is quite alrite for hammer. Lotsa hammer to choose from, from damn big to tiny ones. Harlequin has quite a wide range of bubbles as well, but i didn't ask the price. For bubbles and brian, I got mine from Pasir Ris farm. Walk around the diff farms and u can find some very nice brians. I'm on a 2ft nano as well. Cheers!

  21. Thanks for the reply/suggestions. I'll check out <tropic marin pro coral mineral> soon. I'm using Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium, it says it contains proportionate amount of Strontium and Magnesium. As such, issit still a requirement to dose Strontium and Magnesium separately?
  22. Hi all, Can anyone share if additives/supplements are necessary for LPS? Today I was at petmart, saw so many different kinds of supplements/additive for reef until i blur liao.... I'm currently just using Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium as my calcium level in the tank is depleting rather quickly. Currently have 3 brains, 1 bubble, 1 hammer torch, 1 gionopora, 2 small frags of zoo in my 2ft nano reef. Today just bought the Seachem Reef Plus. Wonder if it's any good? Hope to hear from bros here on good recommendations of additives/supplement to use. Cheers!
