Just got one from SL for $6 on Sun. Mine is always hiding among the rocks. Does not disturb the shrimps or other fishes so far.

Be patient. Mine went traveling for more than 1 week around the 4 sides of the glass before it decided to go down to the sandbed. Even now it spends more time on the glass than on the sandbed.

So far I have managed to catch 10 crabs (2L, 5M, 3S) . Saw the bristle worm going in halfway and backing out. So far no luck catching it. Am also trying to catch the pistol shrimp as I suspect it could be causing the deaths of the blood and cleaner shrimp.

This is how I position the bottle. Another way is to make the opening smaller so that only crabs can go in. Btw, I caught the 6th crab just now!

scanman, I use your idea since yesterday and I have captured 5 crabs already! There's a sixth one just hanging outside the bottle as it cannot find any grip in the bottle before letting go. Thanks for the idea man!
