eh.. anemone n clown (maroon included) has a commensalism relationship. The anemone provides a safe home for the clown which in returns protects the anemone. (owing highly developed territorial nature) However both are capable of surviving successfully. (individually) Clown need time to settle down with an anemone. They can't just take to anemone just like dat. Anemone has the stinging cells, which I think can protect itself, especially from other predatory. Could be Tomato n Maroon are so much bigger in size and seem rougher when they make themselves comforty. For my side, my maroon has been taking real good care of the host anemone. When I drop in Shrimp meat, the maroon will pick it up and feed the anemone. Of course maroon will ensure it got a good fill of its own stomach too. Just now I pick two worms from a LR. The maroon pluck it excited back to the host anemone. tik they BBQ them or eat them sushi style.

WTB to buy 2 anemones to house my maroon n clown. Any idea where to get nice ones. Do PM me if possible with pricing. Went a few LFS before. dun have much.

Q4) when then can i introduced the fish into the tank. get test kit, check for ammonia n NO2 (nitrite). Both zero, introduce fishes. If hardcore check for NO3. maintain below 50ppm.

10K still abit yellowish. tik not much diff from 6.7K. saw the two at work b4, so my advice. unless u supplement the 10k with bluish tubes.

do take note of LPS. they got long tentacles, hence the name LPS. Usually wack those nearby corals into submission. Chemical warface is that the corals have protective mucus. More for their self protection, but those suay suay nearby ones will be badly affected. Take note of bubbles n plate coral. One or two days, surrounding corals all upz the lorry or almost there.

from what I read, once the carbon has absorb all the toxic from the water till its capacity, it will start to "spit" out absorbed stuffs. So best replace them as frequent as you can afford. haha.. once a month is good. Also usage of active carbon will absorb also good trace element. So usage of it once awhile is good. (eg. 2-3days to remove toxic, then remove carbon) As for phosguard, there's so called (as mentioned) no side effect as active carbon. No spitting out effect. But the phosguard won't be effective after its "expired".

ah, that's me. I do target feeding for my corals as well. It ensure that the "target" get the food. rather than just pour into the tank, which could be suck by the filter or protein skimmer. you know u can go to those LFS, they sometimes have a needle syringes(w/o needle), suck in the planktons, n aim near corals. no need to take out clams lah. but I off my filter n skimmer when I do feeding. after 10-20mins then onz back again.
