I had those previously when started with dead rocks but they just go away with frequent water changes. Diatoms are the brown hairy stuff on the glass, rocks n sand ya? 1200-1300 seems to be ok figure (at least for me). What kind of beginner coral are u keeping? also what kind of magnesium salt are you dosing and what salt are u using for water change? cheers

Can't seem to find it in the anymore... I find the LED strip that I have too bright to use at night, want something dimmer. Saw that there used to be quite a few of these moonlight w/ lunar cycle (29.5days) devices previously but no longer available in the market. Have anyone chanced upon something like this at a LFS or online, can pls share? Saw it in person, very healthy specimen. Estimate slightly bigger than two clenched fist size together... Great buy for $60 if anyone is looking for a lumi green hammer. Up for a good seller!
