  1. wah.....simple equipments yet such a nice sps tank....amazing...
  2. screw head i'm not veri sure..but i bought a fitting light bulb to test the fixture and its written e27 on the cover...it's best u check with the other par38 user or aquarium artist..i think the light is strong enough, but the angle is abit tight...the sides seems abit dark, but i did keep a monti for fun (1 mth already) and still surviving, no change in colour but the colour like abit brown, dunnoe whether is the original colour.i post a pic later. my water parameter is abit off at the moment so of the coral ain't doing well but for those zoas that are doing fine, the colour seems to be more intense than b4...dun noe is placebo effect or not.. if u got the budget , go for par38! the shimmer is simply amazing...u wun regret it!
  3. by the way, pic 3 is star polyps and pic 4 i think is hairy mushrooms..
  4. got some of those zoas by kelvin too....those zoas are fantasic!!
  5. mrt track cleaners gonna be veri busy this mth...
  6. i also wan to join in the fun.. Chile vs Honduras: 3 - 0 Spain vs Switzerland: 2-0 South Africa vs Uruguay: 0-0
  7. ermm...no change of food feed but i did increase number of feeding to 2/3 per week(used to be once a week) anyway i'm using NSW for water change all along.
  8. i'm using NSW for my 1ft and i found the surface layer of oil to be much more after my recently water change, so far my tailspot and peppermint shrimp seems to be ok n i also added a additional red spot goby recently, seem ok to me at the moment.will update if any unusual stuff occurs. not using surface skimmer by the way
  9. choose yr livestock wisely ,limit yr feeding and a skimmer will not be required(still need water change) keeping yr parameter stable would be more important imo. get better equipments at the initial stage will in fact save u more $$ in the long run,dun need to upgrade equipment in future.. can always get 2nd hand one.
  10. definitely possible....u probably would do better with a additional wavemaker and take note of the evaporation rate if u use a fan....they will give yr salinity levels a big headache.....a pair of clownfish pretty controversial in such a small tank but with gd maintainence and weekly water change it's likely possible....but the way is the light PL lighting.....? and ya welcome the sgreef....! hope u will enjoy the wonders of the great ocean...
  11. even yr sump also so many gems sia..
  12. wow....nice rhodatic....where did u get that..
