  1. I guess it comes as a price that you can own such a gorgeous tank but have to deal with high phosphate and regular algae bloom. well, dude, you can look into putting greater effort in doing wet skimmate (if you have not done so) and regular water changes with strict feeding regime?
  2. hoho! this has been too much of a coincidence, we are actually from the same secondary school! hahaha but I won't go easy on you with my comments If you do something wrong, I will ''advise'' you accordingly. and if I got good lobangs, I will let you on too! whee (: anyway welcome to this endless spiral called Reefkeeping (:
  3. wow, not bad. give it another few more months, your acros will grow quite nicely up there. and what's the long tentacled coral? it's spoiling your aesthetic! hahaha
  4. I recommend you go for small fishes. Angels like cherub angel will do fine. If not, you can always go for mandarin pairs, gobies, or hawkfishes. ask me, I will ask you to go for a small school of gobies. looks good and adds nice personalities to your tank
  5. sorry for my frankness. there's far too many rocks in that tank of yours alr! and don't stack them like legos. aquascape them! check out other members' tank threads on how you can scape them. Yours still need to improve just my 2 cents
  6. Exactly, I used to have 3 feeters and above. but later realise they are more of a hassle than a charm. worst than ladies of course! >< haha, so I'm downgrading to 2 feet, minus IOS compartment. maybe looking at 1.5ft. haha full fledged sps soon. waiting for them to grow. gee damn long! ><
  7. don't worries lah. small tanks are more manageable than large tanks. YES, a greater room for errors but also an easier time to rectify. For example, a simple water change will solve any possible issues. and that won't cost you an arm or leg. Just a few litres nia (:
  8. what's the actual specs of your tank? please advise. I am looking for a 2ft tank too
  9. hello all, I am looking for the above requirement for my tank. If you have one to let go, do PM me about it. thanks marc jacobs
  10. Price revised to $180, other than that it is still negotiable Thanks for reading
