IMO the Corals should be in the temp around 22 - 27 deg... , the fishes can be around 25- 30 deg..... , but the problem U tank temp. day & night have a great diff. That not too health to the Corals & fishes...... U Corals & fishes were sick ..... & .......... gone........

If U just want to keep 2 damsels & 1 clown , IMO don't need the Skimmer . Until U have more fishes ........

I had the same size of tank ( 6x2x2.5 ft) which using the 1/2 hp chiller .
