my water has not been very clear lately, and its due to my live rocks regularly puffing out clouds of whitish things. i dunno what they are, and hw come its doing dat, but its pretty unsightly when i switch on the lights. i am currently using an atman HOF, 600L/h, and a weipro 2011 hung on to the side too. but it seems dat my water clarity still quite cloudy with suspense...

icic... thanx bros for helping me out!!! anyway, me and my fren were like thinking of keeping brine shrimps in a separate tank, den slowly feed them to our fishes... but dunno how long they can survive... and btw, how much and where can i get brine shrimp eggs? are they very difficult to hatch???

haha thanx guys for the warning.. wanted to get some to see some live feeding in action... but think better not.. cos if put live stuff more fun... i think.. anyway got a question to ask u guys, my royal dottyback, looks slightly transparent, and now i realised on 1 side of its body, got small patches of more transparent surfaces.. izzt white spot? if it is wat do i do??>?

i think it would be better to wash it, cos when i washed mine, the first wash has a water consistency similiar to that of a diluted milo... comes with foam too.... a lot of it. water onli became clear on the 5th wash.... dunno what dat is.. or is dat supposed to be inside?!?!?!

i wash them in a pail... i fill the sand to around 2/3 of the pail, den add water to the top, stir them till almost everything comes out, den i pour away the water, and fill it again... around 4 times will do.... haha.. cos i juz washed mine this way... if wanna save water, maybe can bring your sand to the public toilet, den wash it there? water will be free..?

anyone tried putting live brine shrimps into the tank before? how did the fishes react? any possible benefits to feeding live shrimps as to frozen ones?
