  8. Even for a freshwater, a 4 footer needs to be at least 10mm to cather the water pressure. For marine, i suggest 12mm but 10mm might be alrite. Juz be careful when u r arranging ur LR. make sure sure they are stable.
  9. i think when its comes to marine tank, protein skimmer should be necessary. especially u plan to keep coral.
  10. oh. glad to hear that. thanks.
  11. yup. i think this is a good way to wash. 4-5 pails of water to wash a sand is still alrite. i washing this way too. but for the toilet method..
  12. yup. i think this way is better washing method, save alot of water. 4-5 pails of water to wash a bag of sand. ok la. as for the public toilet washing method..
  13. let me estimate the weight hor .. a DSB of at least 3" will be about 20-25kg. then LR will constitute about 25kg depending on how much u plan to put in ur tank. water itself is not light not to mention seawater. i estimate the water to weight around 80-90kg. plus the tank and equipments weight. So it will comfirm be well over 50kg bro.
  14. I jus started to set up my tank few days back. but i have put sand before the LR. Is it ok if i jus push the LR depper into the sand?? thanks in advance.
