I used both salt mix and seawater. But recently use more seawater because got a company called Oceansing deliver pre-filtered seawater. Selling my Reef Octopus DDNW-150-6530. Used for about a year. Reason for selling is because I have decomm my Marine Tank that is using the Protein skimmer. This is a powerful skimmer for up to 1300L tank. It comes with 2 needle wheels 2000/l OTP-2000 pump with 900l/hr of air.
