Garibaldi Damsel not a good fish to try as if not quaratine and besides when grows certain size worse looking than 3-stripe damsel. when you say "Received news that LCK110 has a shipment of FLORIDA RICORDIA (mainly blue & some orange) arrived this morning and that certain quantities are being put aside for sales to reefers as from this afternoon.".... meaning what??

yes was mistaken.... not the type of species I got or not from them, cant really remember could have brought from ah beng have some friends overseas that still looking for this black widow. Was informed that it's RARE and that would be a nice addition to my reef tank. and yes they are cleaners too

Ya the Reef Octopus Overflow boxes are good. You can get them at Aquamarin too. But call them first to check, the stocks go very fast there.

I think you have to identify what kind of algae you are having, be it diatoms or cyano. Then you can better deal with the problem at the root.

What flow are you using for the FR? May be because you do not have enough flowrate. The new SORB4 media does fluidize easily and I do have very good results from it.

Just get a hydro, ph test kit and a thermometer. Diligently change water and you can't go too far wrong. Personally I don't believe in chasing numbers. Spend the money on a good skimmer.
