BUM: I need 2 endcaps to diy 1 t5 to supplement my MH... hope u r able to get in touch with him...

Hi, Was wondering where to get the ballast n endcaps... anyone can advise me on that cos I was thinking of DIY n I cannot find the old thread b4 the forum is down.... btw, that's all I need other than reflector rite? correct me if i'm wrong

Pls.... dun do things that u think r right... calibrating at singapore shore? n putting fishes n corals? wat u need most is patience.... pls cycle ur tank in the most proper way.... believe me, u won't regret it! btw, if u wan a calibration pls ask a freindly LFS to help u.... they hav proper accurate probes n meters....

Great setup.... think the overflow leads to a sump issit? Did u try to drill holes to cut away backflow into ur sump when there's a power failure? Hope u take it into account b4 ur family members complains of water overflow... Cheers!

Blue tang is very prone to ich... esp in a relatively new tank setup... Only thing u hav to do is to monitor the water closely ( esp nitrate level to be veri high ) then provide good n nutritious food to increase its immunity... First thing is to buy garlic guard to provide vitamins... secondly is to vary its diet... try to buy some different varieties of frozen food, defrost, add garlic guard... mix well.. n freeze it again.... Some food to recommend: Spinach, mysis shrimp, krill, Quintet Mix... Not only good health prevents diseases, u will find ur fish having vibrant colours... Most importantly, be very patient.... this is a long term thing...

Just leave it at where u wan it to be... in a hole or anything n it will stick onto the rock itself...

Hi guys, For betta dissolve of kalk... put the DI or the water to mix into the fridge... kalk dissolves much better when it is cold... thus no need to add vinegar.... Btw, kalk can be poured slowly at a high flowing area ( at the overflow into the sump ) just make sure that u monitor the pH of the main display aquarium not to have drastic increase of more than 0.2... n also try with small n slow pours first, monitoring n adjusting accordingly each time... Ca can be maintained easier n betta ( no more ppt )... Knowledge derived from ML, tried it myself n still using it....

So many fellow marine aquarists staying in Jurong area.... btw, there's a small small, veri small shop in Jurong West opposite the Mobil n C.C n near bicycle shop there, starting to sell some cheap common marine fishes ( semi marine now ).... Wah lau.... poor filter systems n unknowledgeable boss.... think he onli wanted to "sell n go loh"... not taking care of the welfare of the fishes loh....

Hi, Wish to sell my Carpet Anemone which I kept for 6 mths liao. It can reach more than 7 inches under light... Selling it due to lack of space...
