there's somthing called 'MACROALGAE' they are predominantly higher(vascular) flowering plants . Seaweeds are macroalgae too , their 'leaves' are basically long string of simple cells similar to single celed algae because they are invertebrates that incoperate photosynthesizing organisms in their tissues . they need intense light if not they will die and foul the tank
