Hi gurus, After seeing my tank, my friend advise that the live rocks in my sump need light to cultivate the bateria. Is he correct? Currently I have about 20kg of live rock in my sump which is not expose to any source of light as it in the cabinet.

Hi, Got a question. I got a rio20 for my return pump, I know what Qmax is but if my pipe size is only 13mm where else the outlet OD is 21mm will it affect the pump, such as overheating or reduce lifespan?

Wah Bro, Marine tank must have skimmer unless u do regular water change pending ur bio load. For newcomers, I don't recommend tangs until ur tank have cycle properly and ur gain enough exp in feeding, maintenance, dosing, etc. Plan carefully bro and invest wisely else it burn ur pocket. I have plenty of holes in my wallet to show u.... All the best bro.

My past learnt experience is if u want to pair the clown then get a pair of maroon clowns instead of trying to pair them up. They are in my category as ferocious fish and it will be sad thing to see them wacking other clowns. Btw u don't need a pair of maroon clowns unless u want to be a breeder. They can live happily by themselves. my 5 cent input.
