What are the symptoms of a crashed tank?

Hi to seniors and experienced reefers.

I would like to know what are the symptoms and signs that your tank had crashed. Is it algae bloom? Fishes dying? Corals melting?

I would say that when your tank is no longer able to sustain the livestocks in it, it had crashed.

When you ammonia keep rising and your livestock keep dieing ,it mean your existing biological system is unable to sustain your Bio load.

However to some people, a complete wipe out of their fish due to a diseases outbreak also mean a Tank crash.

So meaning, with water changes also we cant rescue the tank? So we have to decomm and start again?

Are there any other ways rather than decomm and start again?
