How do I make my skimmer less noisy?

Hi everyone!

I just setup my new tank with a Deltec SC2060, and I'm wondering if the noise due to the vibration from the pump/air bubbles/etc can be reduced further... I can still hear it when I close my cabinet.

Hope for some advice, thanks so much!

Did you try taking out the pump and wash it ?

Yup, even brought it back to ReefDepot to check. Everything seems normal about the skimmer.

I think it's because it is vibrating and resonating through the sump's glass. I've the same issue with my Eheim 1262 pump too...

Oops didn't realize there were replies...

Ah-lim: Yes! I realized it wasn't my skimmer, but my Eheim 1262... Have replaced it with a Tesino GP232 :)

I'm also using GP232..really super silent!
