Mike why not frag out the zoas that are near the star area to save the zoas. Then use night strike, find a porcelain plate n cover the area where the stars are. No light no food no life!

Hope this night strike helps

Hi Dave, i luv fishes too. How long did you dip your zoas with grey stars in fresh water ? Can you be more specific on the process ?

Thank you

mike

I just immersed the whole rock in tap water just like how you fresh water dipped new zoas... I keep them immersed for about 5 to 10 mins. Then you shd see the skin Of the skins peeling off and you can rub them off gently

Thanks Davidluvfishes. I will try your method this evening. If this is successful, I could save as much as 80 to 90% of my zoas and I will return your kindness with a frag of Rasta Zoas.

Rgds,

mike

It may not be able to kill all the pest polyps in 1 dip. There will still be some stubborn survivors that remain.. but you should see a reduction of the pest polyps... Good luck!!

Looking forward to receiving your Rasta ... :)

Brilliant idea from David.

Mike, after first fresh water treatment of the affected zoas rock, its better to be placed in a convinient place for subsequent treatment to make sure no more tough cookies remains there and resurrect once more. It could be a long battle...but it's possible with determination.

Treat others the way you wanna be treated...

Thank you Dr Ang . Your endorsement of david's war plan certainly gives me the strength , courage and above all the confidence to strike back at the enemies.

Casualties would be heavy on both sides. I might want to request to set up a base at your Beok Clinic.

All treated frags would be sent to your camp, where you will continue to cull the remainding enemies. At the same time, you will offer your tender love and care to the scarred zoas and nurse them to robust health.

You may keep the female POW for your own needs. Hope this is good incentive for you.

rgds,

mike

One last but not the least target is this main star concentration. 2.5 ft down the terrains , I have to adopt MJ 's BASH method. Brush And Suck Hard.

I need volunteers for this operation.

Any suckers or or reefers with pouting mouth ?

Will report again when the operations are completed. In mean time, remain radio silence.

Good nite.

Mike.

Scary, Dr Ang, the words you used are always referred to the demised North Korea Supreme Commander, 7 Star polyp Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Still , I will send you some captured starlets for the respects you bestowed on me.

cheers

I have just concluded a staff meeting.

Operations will commence tomorrow.

Targets have been identified. Ops order issued.

These targets will be engaged with David's SAD strategy. Soak And Destroy.

Mike.

Next target is more complicated as enemies have dug in among the rasta community. Will use PAP art of war. Pluck And Pull , with a fine pincer.Sniper standby.

Mike.

This target will be confronted using CG's secret mode. I cannot disclose it as he contacted me by hotline, and claimed to have eliminate aiptisa too.

Trust me, CG is as good as Dr Ang with Zoas .

Jerm, I can take out some frags that I glued onto the rocks. But the main rock which is infected cannot be taken out. That's why I have to use a few different strategies. The pic will show you what I mean. It will take days to do it.

The battle is over. High casualties on both sides. Many zoas were killed in the crossfire. The stenched smell of dying corals drifted across the hall. Various methods were deployed in the battle. The stronger palys could withstand the bombardment, not so for the smaller zoas. They melted under intense pressure.

The frags were all put back into the ain tank. Give a week or so to see whether injured and shocked zoas can recover or not.

The exercise is a success because i cleared most of the death stars on the afflicted rocks. A bonus was hair algae that were amiong the frags and rocks were totally annihilated and turned white. On the other hand, the exercise could be deemed a failure as many many smaller zoas couldnt make it from the relentless onslaught of fire power. They melted under stress.

This is a valuable learning process. In the next few days, i will share with whats a better way to do it and what ideas were suggested in other forums.

I will post as soon as time permits.

## I will also share with you on how i caught a worm that cast massive spider webs on other non affected zoas in the tank, while the battle rages outside. This is another zoas pest that should be eliminated from our tanks. ##

Nado..nado..

mike
