Hi,

Any bros or sis is using Red Sea Coral Pro Salt mix?

Previously i am using NSW and i started switching to salt mix.

My readings for NO3 and PO4 are high.... i mean real high.... but my green mandrian, common clown and squarriel are doing fine except my maxima and elegance. they are not opening up fully.

I am using Red Sea NO3, PO4 reducer as well. 3 ml or less per day but my readings are still high.

I feed my fishes and corals once every 2 days wif small pinch of pellets and less than 1/4 cube of mysis.

REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!

Yes I tried before, very good salt,coral expand more bigger and coraline algae growth very fast. No3 reading 0ppm from fresh salt mix(I mix with DI water).No3:p04-x also like other carbon dosing system and need to take some time to see the your no3 and po4 start to reduce. Try to include more info of your tank I sure more professional in the forum will try to help

Size: 33"x 41" x 33"

Filter: Jebo canister filter 5 ply 829

Medium for filter: Bio balls, Ceramic rings, ceramic brown sticks (forget what brand)

Relay pump: dolphin powerhead pump forget what is the model

Chiller: Hailea HC-100A

NO3: more than 25ppm

PO4: more than 5 ppm

Calcium: 430

KH: have not test yet, will update tonight

MG: have not test yet, will update tonight

What test kits are you using? Could it be test kit issue?

I am using Red Sea NO3 test kit. PO4 also Red Sea.

Po4 very high. GBpo4 from Marine Life might help.. Im having 5ppm (API) test kit doing GBPO4 right now.
