SRC Member james72 Posted January 20, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted January 20, 2004 Hi guys ! just brought 50kg of live rocks and leave it inside a sump full of salt water at SG 1.025 with 2 x powerhead circulating. Yest. the water turn clear , tot everything was good but today the LR and water suddenly turn cloudy and smelly, there are some dead worms at the sump bottom too. What has happen? Can the LR still be use? Must I run my skimmer or circulate the LR through a filter system? Need to set it aside for at least another 5 days before my main tank is ready. PLS advise! Morgan Posted January 20, 2004 Share Posted January 20, 2004 Put in an air pump will help to reduce the smell......at the same time can also run your protein skimmer.
