Purple Tipped Acro

Hi All,

Anyone knows where i can get the Acro?

Saw some pics in this website and like it.....but dont think i ever came across this before.

What is the requirement of this coral?

To keep the purple tips, it must grow. Once it stops growing, the purple tips disappear. High lighting of bluer spectrum(looks washout under 6500K because the purple is due to fluorescent pigment), moderate flow, high calcium and alkalinity with good water parameters will give this acro a brilliant purple colour.

It's a piece from Reefworld that they imported from Fiji. Possibly an Acropora pulchra.

U seldom come across acro cause it is sort of "banned" at the moment. Moreover, if there are any, it is likely to be snapped up quickly.

Thanks for the info.Any of the LFS of FF you been to sell this thing before?

ZRecently did any of them bring in?

I am thinking that at least give me a place to start with that bring in before so I can start to keep a look out for it.
